Chisolm Trail Bike Ride: Tomorrow. Too little notice to be able to help.

MCC Bike Ride: Saturday, September 11. Would like radio volunteers.

Kansas Sampler Festival: HAM Radio positions to be filled include Headquarters, Public Safety Trailer, Main Gate, 5 Information Booths, and optionally tailing Virgil Penner, Shelley Keith-Black. There was discussion about what radio equipment various members could bring. Stations can be set up starting Friday between 1-5pm. Roger took names and times of club members who can help at the festival. There will be passes which amateur operator volunteers can pick up from the amateur stationed at the main gate. We should park in regular parking and take the available shuttle to the main gate.

MCC Mennonite Relief Sale: Good sale. David read the sale wrap-up. Bob said there were about 9 operators. There was only one real emergency, a sale volunteer got both hands scalded by boiling water. Two diabetic incidents at the same time, but no lost kids, no vehicle problems or other common issues.

New Repeater: Mainly just waiting for some cans now; once we find some Mike says he should be able to have the repeater ready to go within a few days.

AGCO Emergency Center: Sean said a couple guys at AGCO are studying for their licenses, and he thinks he can get approval to set up a radio station in the AGCO emergency center.

Newsline: Newsline is mentioning our station, W0BZN, on the current newsline on our repeater or at http://www.arnewsline.com

Death: Roger Wilson's father, Jesse Wilson, died three days ago on April 21.

Weather Balloon Watch: Mike Harvey reported that in July, in Hutchinson, there will be a balloon launch and tracking. 2m packet stations can be used to track them.

Severe Weather Fair: Today and tomorrow at the Colosseum. Sedgwick County RACES will be there.

Meeting adjourned at 10:16am
