The February 17, 2001 meeting was held at Spear's Restaraunt in Newton. The meeting was called to order at 9:22am by President Ron Farthing. Present were Lee Buller, Lon Buller, Stan Clemence, David Duerksen, Ron Farthing, David Godshall, Bob Harder, Roger Jost, Robin McDaniel, Rick Rickenberg, John Ryding, Roger Wilson, Dr. J.J. Wilson.

The January minutes were read without correction.

Trustee Report: Bob has no news to report on the repeater.

Technician's Report: Tried installing a little heater, but it was not functional.

Skywarn: Finally got proper FAA approval for the antennas, so the new tower and HAM antennas will soon be erected at the Weather Service.

RACES: Annual Storm Spotter's Meeting still planned for March 6th, 7pm, Chisolm Middle School cafeteria, 900 E. First Street. Lon and Robin still trying to find a good time to reissue RACES cards. The weekly net will start up again this monday, February 19, 8:30pm.

Program: Roger Wilson gave an interesting program on a "Brief History of Amateur Radio in the SouthİCentral Kansas Area."
