The February 19, 2005 meeting was held at Red Coach Restaurant in Newton.  The meeting was called to order at 9:15am by Secretary/Treasurer David Godshall, with Kent Harder taking over halfway through.  Present were Lon Buller, David Duerksen, Marc Friesen, David Godshall, Kent Harder (eventually), Sean Kelly, Robin McDaniel, Bob Ogden and Roger Wilson.

Minutes: January Minutes were accepted with no corrections.

Treasurer's Report: Added $120 from club dues for a total of $748.37 in the checking account and $135 in petty cash.

Kansas Sampler Festival: May 7-8, Saturday & Sunday, first full week in May.  Roger is trying to round up 6-8, possibly 10 operators throughout the two days.  Roger asked that club members put these dates on their calendars and plan to help if at all possible.  He will be taking names later.

Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale: April 8-9, 2005.

Meeting Location: David sent out the Meeting Time/Location surveys and received half a dozen completed surveys by the time of the meeting.  There will be more discussion once the rest of the surveys are returned.  Lon said the Newton Factory Outlet Mall has large rooms available, including the old food court, and could be used Saturday mornings and possibly other times.

AGCO Emergency Communication Center: Sean Kelly received clearance from AGCO's IT Department to receive two computers for running Echolink for the new Amateur Communication Station he's in the process setting up.  So the project is progressing.

Repeater Coordination: Kent Harder reported that Mike Harvey has requested transferring the repeater trusteeship to someone else as he may not be as active in the club in the near future.  It would be best if the new trustee were Extra-class, although other classes could be considered.  Fred Becker and Bob Harder's names were suggested as Extra-class amateurs who might be open to it.

Weather Spotting Training: Newton's session will be March 8.

Meeting adjourned at 10:30am

-- David Godshall, Secretary/Treasurer
