The June 18, 2005 meeting was held at the Old Food Court at the Newton Factory Outlet Mall. The meeting was called to order at 9:22am by President Kent Harder. Present were Ko Bartel, Fred Becker, Lee Buller, David Godshall, Kent Harder, Marion Harper, Mike Harvey, Roger Jost, Ken Lundgren, Robin McDaniel, Bob Ogden and Roger Wilson.
Minutes: May Minutes were accepted with no corrections.
Treasurer's Report: We had several payments -- $24 for post office box dues, $40 for Kansas Not-for-Profit Corporation Annual Report, and $17 for domain name renewal -- leaving a checking account balance of $685.81 in checking, plus $155.00 in petty cash, for a total balance of $840.81.
Repeater work: Put in a 440 control receiver and turned the squelch completely up to minimize interference. The fan has also been installed.
Kansas Sampler Festival: Roger got a letter from the Newton Chamber thanking us for our help with the festival.
Field Day: Next weekend, June 25-26 at Stutzman Retreat Center. Setup can start at 1pm Friday and operation will start 1pm Saturday. Lee was not sure if he would be able to make it this year. The club will bring pop, chips, a some basic grillable meats, people can bring whatever other food they might want.
Dayton Report: Lee and several others took their annual trek to the Dayton Hamvention and saw a lot of neat equipment, met a lot of people, and sold a lot of the stuff they brought to sell. Attendance seemed to be down a little but there was no rain this year, probably for the first time in ten years. The Hamvention normally runs from Friday-Sunday the 3rd weekend of May, and Lee highly recommends going. They have vendors and a flea market, plus technical conferences and meetings.
K0YWT Silent Auction: David reported having received three submissions and reminded everyone that today was the deadline for bid submissions.
Meeting adjourned at 9:55am.
